Mental Health Training At Work

3-Staged Training Process:

Pre-course education: Allows participants to have an understanding of what will be covered and acknowledge their understanding of mental health.

6.5 hour live virtual training: Interactive, live group training with breakout sessions, direct discussions, and group learning.

Post-course education: Participants test their knowledge and obtain their certification.

The Training

Mental Health First Aid is a skills-based training course that teaches participants about mental health and substance-use issues. We encourage leaders, managers, and HR professionals to take this course. Private training is also available.

  • Common signs and symptoms of substance use challenges.
  • How to interact with a person in crisis.
  • How to connect a person with help.
  • Expanded content on trauma, substance use and self-care.

The Mental Health First Aid Action Plan (ALGEE):

How To Become Certified:

Receive your Mental Health First Aid Certification

Complete 2 hours of pre-course work.

Attend the 6.5-hour course.

Complete the post-course education.
